My lovely friend Julia is so talented.
This is a map of Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, the strange land where I now find myself. The map mainly hits the big highlights of the two cities, but I made sure to include some overlooked favorites. All due respect to JFK and Big Tex, may they ever rest in peace.

Kenton, this is AWESOME
Participated in SCAD’s Sidewalk Arts Festival today instead of doing the homework assignments I am really behind on. Yay!
It’s been awhile since I’ve updated, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been making stuff! I’ve just been bad about sharing it, haha. Anyhow, it’s finally springtime!! My favorite season! This quarter (my first as a senior! ahhh) I’m taking a screen-printing class, and I’m excited to share the results of my first attempt! I just tried to have fun creating a pretty image. For this assignment we had to make the stencils by hand using screen filler and drawing fluid to paint directly onto the screen, and we were also not allowed to modify the inks other than color mixing (e.g. no transparency). While the prints aren’t perfect, I’m pretty pleased with how they came out, and I learned a lot. I’m so excited for the next project already—I’m having so much fun! :)
Hey all! Check out my art tumblr to see what I’ve been up to here at SCAD :-) I’m starting my senior year this quarter, and I’m going to try to update as much as possible!

Two spot illustrations of root vegetables: radishes and carrots! Food illustration is a field I’d love to get into.
These are so beautiful, Jessica! I love the detail!!
Ann Arbor, MI, and the University of Michigan campus.
Spring continues to march toward us, while winter stubbornly remains.
